“I lead people through unique culinary experiences while passing on my knowledge and passion for food.”
My culinary journey began as a teenager working at the Kimberton Inn, an upscale restaurant located outside of Philadelphia. I was hooked, and quickly fell in love with the food business and hospitality. Within a year I was enrolled in a four year Culinary Arts program at Johnson & Wales University. I paid my way through cooking school working full time for the University as a Culinary Demonstrator. I spent my days visiting New England high schools providing cooking demos to perspective culinary students. I also represented the University at various trade shows throughout the country. After graduating college I managed a number of restaurants before landing my dream job at Windows Catering, the finest catering company in Washington DC. Windows taught me all about off premise catering, sales and executing great events. I had the privilege to create amazing events including a cocktail party around the Hope Diamond, dinner at the wheels of a space shuttle and Galas for more than a thousand guests. A decade my family relocated home to Chester County, Pennsylvania. I spent a few years as The Directing of Catering for The Vanguard Group. In 2016 I began a new chapter in my food journey working for myself. I specialize in culinary team building events, cooking demonstrations and boutique catering. In addition I continue to practice my cooking skills, bake artisan bread and carve ice. I developed Gregdaylor.com as a place to share my my passions with you.

Travel throughout the country and Canada to present groups of corporate executives a unique ice experience. Demonstrate carving techniques, lead, and coach participant teams to create their own ice sculptures. Plan logistics and work directly with planners to create an exclusive and entertaining event.

Responsible for all onsite catering operations for Vanguard's headquarters with an employee base of greater than 10K. Increased catering revenues by 20% over a three year period exceeding $1.75 million. Created and led a team of 12 full time employees including an Executive Chef and Catering Manager.

Windows Catering Company

Catering Sales Manager

Top Sales person and marketer for Washington DC's Premier Catering Company. Generated annual catering sales to $1.8 million while leading a team of junior sales people and assistants. Created Unique events both large in small is some of the Hottest DC venues.

Johnson & Wales University

Culinary Demonstrator

Represented the University's admissions department at national food shows and high schools throughout the New England area. Offered entertaining and educational culinary demonstrations designed to peak students interest in the university and careers in the Culinary Arts.
